	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/51761/51761_1158846014_small.jpg"><br><br>Rhythm: One of manymut certainly the  key element of healing magic. <br />
Hobums, one of the most intelligent beings roamed the continent of Nine Tortoises are now the only inhabitants of the mysterious Clock tower near Goa Forest. Once they’ve discovered this isolated lethal sanctuary, they were no longer traveling the continent to televise their wisdom, but they have settled where hallucinogen, Devil sprouts flourish. For over decades, Hobums have been saturated in addiction of Devil Sprout smokes in this very same spot. In return, they have gained illogical thinking process and laziness. They have become the beasts without claws, the wisdom seekers without consciousness. Epitaph, new comer to this barbaric world put her first step in the worst place imaginable. She could have been an early breakfast for these creatures, but Hobum’s realized great talent hidden within this young human girl; The Healing magic. Its still raw and unpolished ability, but her music with bassy down-tempo chill-out rhythm and melodies certainly is tasty enough to soothe these poor souls’ psyche. … They all understand Epitaph can’t stay here forever, so Hobums demand one last, “ENCORE or DIE” performance. <br />

Hello! dear CGS professionals! im most happy to add one of my recent work to wonderful collection of artworks here, once again.<br />
<br />
earlier  this year, i was hell bent on improving skills on rendering skin tones with various/ wide range of  color hues. i also realized studying such technique, that i was able to bring more realism to my work, though realism isnt exactly what i wanna push in my work. i wish i can find a better balance between realistic and stylistic.<br />
technical approaches aside, my intention here was to capture a <b>simple pleasure in life.</b> <br />
the Talkshow host, Epitaph healing herself from the hot sunday afternoon by dipping her toe into water.<br />

	<title>Okii Jijin& Hashi Hime -ninja Talkshow Concept</title>

its been so long, i ought to have something completely new, but i brought you something from the series you might already be familiar with.<a href="http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=210872" target="_blank">OMAI and other character designs from last year </a><br />
actual illustrated design is done about a year ago along with other 20 designs Stacy (JUJI)and I  put together. however we felt the need to expand our horizon in an interesting and artistic way, so we decided to turn funny pictures into funny toys.<br />
so here is another creative endeavor from those silly boys and girls at mess studios!<br />

HASHI HIME, one of recent character illustrations.<br />
with this design, me and Alena got to collab for the first time, and we both learned so much, meterializing 2D image into something with more dimension.<br />
on Alena's sculpture, i painted color, using combination of Airbrush and normal acrylic brushes at FAR-OUT toys at San Jose California.<br />
OKII JIJIN, is 12th character illustrated and added to the library of ninja talkshow story concepts.<br />

Okii Jijin, A (shaolin) monk, an Inspirational speaker, A Stand-Up comedian has a different point of view about the world of &quot;nine tortoise continent&quot; And Epiphany and her Elite clan have quite similar agenda. With great skills (social and martial art both!) of Okii Jijin, Epiphany and her clan has one less thing to worry about- getting bored during the travel towards the other side of the valley.<br />

As many of you will &quot;most likely&quot; point out, though this concept art didnt use any references, INFLUENCES comes from as classic as Astroboy, manzinger, macross, and all the other robotic goodness up to date- not to mention the Jetsons!<br />

the concept is being developed as multiple media content purposes, however i am involved in comic industry, and that is our first step. i decided to get your vicious critisizm, so i could improve on elements that are unseen to my eyes.<br />
First, meet <b>TARA BONBON</b><br />
She is a pop star and singer/song writer/dancer in the world full of ninjas, breaking many lean mean  stealth assasins' hearts.<br />
second character concept piece is <b>JUSTICE CLAN</b> this young and leathal clan is a shadow of master samurai LAN who is rare indentity who believes in Justice.<br />

and here is the third entry, <b>YOM</b> also this piece goes by the name of &quot;art of serving fruits&quot; Yom is a only daughter of Kook Family. grandpa (master chef) Koit, father Blowphish, (fisherman/wagon driver) and Yom drive around their roach-coach all around the Nine Tortoise Continents and serve the finest, and the most exiquiste Sea food, and great tasting cup of tea.<br />

this concept of &quot;soothing the nature&quot; struck me strong recently, and came to understand how well we do realize the earth could use some time off from direction of frantic industrial development. Not that the message conveyed here will change anything, but leaving a small note as an artists that we are aware of such dilemma.<br />
South, inudstrial district built upon dead and currupted ground by equally damaged spirits.<br />
North, begining of turning back the time, and endless possiblities for new life.<br />
Center, willingly given sacrifce to bring eucatastrophe to earth.<br />

This fake fluffy platic wings wearing girl has been seeking for the perfect combinations. the light, and water.<br />
fundamental elements for new life.<br />
this sewer, and its all surroundings below industrial district have been dead for decades, but no one find it as a problem. no one find it as sin.<br />
with this light and water, life will begin. the earth could use a small pleasing soothing moment.<br />

TECH SPEC<br />
SOOTHE: mainly done using painter8. with some PSCS.  initial concept was to practice and study lighting and color palette, which i havent been able to play with due to heavy line art work i have now for the comic project. about 3 hours.<br />
EUCATASTROPHE: mainly done using PSCS. with some of painter8 (pastel brushes)for rendering female figure. It was basically &quot;soothe&quot; sequel, but taking a stab at different approach, in terms of depth of field, lighting, and color scheme. (cold blue scheme for morning, and warm orange tone for twilight) about 4 hours.<br />

here is an experimental piece id like to share.<br />
this particular painting was done only using PSCS (without my usual Painter aid) and using one hard tip brush (default)airbrush pen opacity flow) on single layer.<br />
Usually i tend to do line art, and those lines tent to dominate the image, but in this case, work process was very organic, definition of each area was soft and fluid instead of sharp and predetermined.<br />
some of you might say what is so experimental about that? that is simply a way of many people paint their art.<br />
well, it is for me. my tool of choice is pencil and line art is what i do most of the time, and im slowly begining to understand the theory behind.... painting.<br />
it took under 5 hours<br />

ANI.<br />
she is a full time captain of &quot;Aphelion&quot; cargo ship, and part time cosmic DJ who collects unique vibes from  all over the universe.<br />
Former level 12 medical soldier, capable of healing wounded soliders by playing downtempo, chill-out lounge music.<br />
what you see here is portable floating coffin, liquified Chi energy and crystal  wings that serves purpose as speakers and sub woofers!<br />
